Norton Rose Fulbright South Africa has appointed Sbu Gule as CEO and Marelise van der Westhuizen as Executive Chairperson, effective 1 April 2018.

Sbu, the current President of the Law Society of the Northern Provinces, has been with the Firm since 2000, serving as Chairman since 2012.

Marelise is a director in the commercial litigation team and the head of the risk advisory practice in South Africa.

They will comprise the executive committee at the Firm, alongside Deputy CEO, Mark Gilbert and Chief Financial Officer, Thuli Moyo.
