In 2024, SEFA reached its potential, surpassing funding targets and achieving record levels of project approvals. Additionally, the year was marked by the successful mobilisation of additional resources, including first-time contributions from new partners, solidifying our role as a leading catalyst for sustainable energy investments in Africa, reflecting the strength of confidence in our mission to promote sustainable development and address critical energy challenges.

Our work creates renewable energy projects and empowers communities through expanded energy access, fostering economic growth and enhancing climate resilience. We directly support the Mission 300 initiative, which aims to bring energy access to 300-million people by 2030. Each step we take brings us closer to a future where all Africans can thrive in a more sustainable environment.

As we look ahead, driven by this year's successes, we remain steadfast in our commitment to continue amplifying our impact and advancing our mission of a just energy transition across the continent.
