By virtue of section 40(1)(b) of The South African National Roads Agency Limited and National Roads Act, 1998 (Act No. 7 of 1998), I hereby amend Declaration No.'s 595 of 1998 and 1392 of 1996 by changing the route's description from National Road S25 Section 3 to National Road R31 Section 1, being the part of the route, commencing from the Namibia / South Africa International Border at Rietfontein Border Post, from where it proceeds in a general South Easterly direction up to the junction with Route R360 Section 1, near the town of Askham.
