The Ahmed Kathrada Foundation extends its condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of slain Gauteng health department official, Babita Deokaran.
Deokaran was shot outside her Johannesburg South home on 23 August 2021.
A chief director of financial accounting at the department, Deokaran was a Special Investigating Unit witness in a R332 million PPE scandal, and had assisted with other investigations as well.
