SADTU in KwaZulu-Natal will this week have its Annual Principals Awards ceremony to acknowledge and show  appreciation  to teachers who continue to excel in their schools.

Explaining the rationale behind the Awards, SADTU KZN Secretary, Nomarashiya Caluza said, “SADTU in the province started the awards after noticing that very little is said when results are good. Teachers are criticized all time and people forget the appalling conditions they work under. The awards serve to thank the teachers for the good work they do and are encouraged to do more in the realization of People’s Education for People’s Power.”

The event is planned as follows:
Date: Friday, 5 May, 2017
Venue: Coastlands Hotel, Durban
Time: 10am
