The Regional Organisations Humanitarian Action Network (ROHAN) is an informal network of 13 regional organisation secretariats and centres working in humanitarian action. ROHAN was established in February 2015, following discussions between regional organisations at a conference hosted by the International Humanitarian City in Dubai, and convened by the Humanitarian Policy Group (HPG) at the Overseas Development Institute.
The ROHAN 2016 meeting in Jakarta marked an important step in the evolution of this informal network of regional organisations.
Through a process of sharing knowledge and building trust, ROHAN can serve as a platform for deeper engagement both among regional organisations and with important partners in the international community who share the same objectives of supporting people affected by crisis.
