The South African Communist Party (SACP) invites the media to cover the Red October Campaign 2021 launching rally.

The Red October Campaign 2021 will take place within the SACP centenary year and local government elections period. The SACP will also use the rally to campaign for a resounding victory of the African National Congress in the local government elections.

Date: Sunday, 3 October 2021

Starting time: 11:00 AM

Venue: Nondlini Hall, Inchanga, Ward 4, eThekwini Metropolitan Municipality, KwaZulu Natal Province

Speakers: Dr Blade Nzimande, the SACP General Secretary will address the event. SACP Alliance partners, the African National Congress and the Congress of South Trade Unions, and youth wing, the Young Communist League of South Africa will present messages of support.

The SACP will use the campaign to articulate its programme of both the immediate and structural transformation interventions required to overcome the interrelated economic and social crises of unemployment, poverty, inequality, and the associated struggle faced by many working-class and poor families struggling to support life.
