This past weekend, the nominees for the 31st Gourmand World Cookbook Awards were announced, with the official awards ceremony taking place on 27 - 30 November in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The Gourmand World Cookbook Awards were founded in 1995 by Edouard Cointreau. Every year, they honour the best food and wine books, printed or digital, as well as food television. This year they had 848 participants from 180 countries participate in these prestigious awards.
