Statutory interpretation – North West Traditional Leadership and Governance Act 2 of 2005 – s 10(3) – Premier’s appointment of administrator without recommendation from Royal Family – unlawful.
Section 14(3) – Powers of the Premier – Premier has no authority to withdraw recognition certificate of Kgosi without receipt of decision and reasons therefore – from statutorily recognised Royal Family – in the North West Province – to remove the Kgosi.
