The GOOD Party wishes to congratulate our party leader, Patricia de Lille on her appointment as the Vice-Chair of the World Tourism Organization.

Her election comes as South Africa assumes the G20 presidency in 2025.

According to Minister in the Presidency, Khumbudzo Ntshavheni ‘This appointment will strengthen South Africa’s role in ensuring tourism plays as a catalyst to grow the economy, create jobs but mostly leveraging on South Africa’s Presidency in G20 to promote the continent tourism‘

As South Africa takes on global leadership roles, GOOD is optimistic the tourism sector will provide a much-needed boost to the economy.
