Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright is delighted to announce the hires of Lee Astfalck, Elmien le Roux and Megan Claassens.

Lee Astfalck is director in the insurance team and will focus on insurance law, financial lines and commercial litigation.  Lee joins from Livingston Crichton after a stint in London where he qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2003. He deals with complex and large-loss policy coverage advice subrogated recovery actions and regularly advises insurers on the drafting and preparation of policy wordings and new product development.

Elmien le Roux joins the firm as Director, Mining, from Knowles Husain Lindsay Inc. Attorneys. Elmien has strong experience in a range of industries across mining law, conservation law and municipal and planning law. She has worked with several large mining companies advising on regulatory aspects pertaining to the implementation of the sale of mining operations, to advising mining houses on employee mining housing schemes. 

Megan Claassens joins as an associate in the disputes team and is based in Johannesburg.  Megan has insurance related experience in financial lines, professional indemnity, directors and officer’s liability, aviation, logistics, business rescue and liquidations, medical malpractice.
