The Democratic Alliance governed City of Cape Town has delivered more government funded homes than any other ANC governed Metro in South Africa.
The Minister of Human Settlements has confirmed that the City is the nation's leading provider of government funded homes across all metros, having delivered 202 070 homes to poor South Africans since 1994.
Despite inconsistent and reduced grant allocations by the ANC's National Department of Human Settlements, the City has put poor South Africans first and delivered better than any other metro.
This is indicative of the DA's commitment to excellence and service delivery outcomes that afford all South Africans dignity. The DA commends the City on leading South Africa forward.
