The Democratic Alliance in the Western Cape wholeheartedly congratulates the Western Cape Government and the City of Cape Town for the triumphant launch of the Netball World Cup at the prestigious Cape Town Convention Centre.

This historic event marks the first-ever Netball World Cup to be hosted on African soil, and the City of Cape Town embraced the occasion with an extraordinary free concert at the Fan Park outside the convention centre. The vibrant celebration, adorned with captivating street art, delectable food trucks, magnificent Cape Town carnival floats, and thrilling live performances, enlivened the heart of the Mother City's CBD.

The first game is set to kick off tonight, promising an exhilarating display of athleticism and sportsmanship.
