Minister of Small Business Development, Ms Lindiwe Zulu, will on Friday, 21 April 2017 launch the Centre for Entrepreneurship at Goldfields TVET College in Welkom, Free State.

This programme is partly a response to the challenge of youth unemployment. This Centre of Entrepreneurship will provide appropriate support to young people at the early stage of the entrepreneurial journey, including training on entrepreneurship, mentorship and networking

Centres for Entrepreneurship seek to promote entrepreneurship as a career of choice and thus advance the department’s objective of building a nation of entrepreneurs.  The Centre for Entrepreneurship creates opportunities for meaningful participation by historically disadvantaged communities and informal enterprises in the mainstream economy.

Members of the media are invited as follows:

DATE            :      29 March 2017
TIME             :      10:00am
VENUE         :       14107 Ndaki Road – MotseThabong , WELKOM

The department is determined to promote an entrepreneurship culture and encourage students to create their own businesses.

RSVP:  Clement Moaga on 071 223 9957/ CMoaga@dsbd.gov.za

Enquiries: Cornelius Monama
