Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (CoGTA), Hon. Des van Rooyen and Bokone Bophirima Premier, Hon. Supra Mahumapelo will on Saturday 18th of November 2017, launch the newly approved Local Government Anti-Corruption Strategy.

The strategy which will be launched under the theme: “Breaking the Chain of Corruption”, is aimed at intensifying the fight against fraud and corruption in the Local Government Sphere and equally encourage whistle blowers to report fraudulent or corrupt activities.

Build up activities to the launch will include Anti-Corruption Motorcade to Matlwang village where Dr Kenneth Kaunda District Mayor will address residents at Matlwang Community Hall on the 17th of November 2017 and a Gala Dinner at Banquet Hall.

Members of the media are encouraged to attend and cover the event/launch as follows:
