The Minister of Water and Sanitation, Ms Nomvula Mokonyane, will deliver a keynote address at the Women’s Consultative Workshop on the National Water and Sanitation Master Plan which will be held on Friday, 18 August 2017 at the Emperors Palace, Kempton Park, Ekurhuleni.

The consultative workshop is aimed at soliticing inputs into the National Water and Sanitation Plan (NW& SMP) so that the women’s perspective meaningfully informs how water and sanitation services are delivered in the country.

Taking part in the consultative workshop will be a wide array of like-minded organisations across all spectrums of society, including government and civil society stakeholders. Moreover, this stems from the department’s insistence that women’s voices should as a matter of necessity inform the final Plan.
