The GOOD Party congratulates our Leader, Minister Patricia de Lille on being honoured with the “Tourism Minister of the Year” award for Excellence in Governance - Infrastructure Development from the Pacific Area Travel Writers Association.
De Lille received the award whilst showcasing South Africa's Vibrant Tourism Offerings at ITB Berlin 2025.
De Lille has served the country as Tourism Minister since 2023 and was reappointed as part of the Government of National Unity.
As a dedicated public servant, Minister de Lille has served South Africa with dignity and grace. This global award is a well-deserved recognition of her tireless contributions to our country, particularly in the areas of governance, infrastructure, and tourism.
Under the Minister’s leadership, significant strides have been made in enhancing the tourism sector, which plays a critical role in driving our country’s economic growth.
We are proud of the Minister’s achievements within government. And are honoured to have her as our leader.
