Members of the media are invited to the following Mandela Day programmes that the Ahmed Kathrada Foundation will be undertaking on July 18.

1. What: Struggle veterans Ahmed Kathrada, Laloo Chiba and Foundation staff will visit Little Rose Centre in Kliptown to distribute clothing, books and non-perishable food items collected by youth during the recent Operation Winter Warm campaign. They will be joined by staff from Trade Route Mall, who will also distribute items such as blankets and scarves.
When: July 18

2. What: The Foundation will visit Amakhaya Home in Lenasia to distribute items collected by youth during the recent Operation Winter Warm campaign.
When: July 18
Time: 3.30pm
Where: Hope Street,  Region G complex, off the K43,  opposite Lenasia Muslim School. (Turn left into the complex and take the first left thereafter.)

3. What:  The Foundation will be visiting the SOS Children’s Village in Lawley to distribute clothes and non-perishable food items.
When: 18 July 2016

Where:  5 James St, Ennerdale, 1830
