The Chairperson of the Portfolio Committee on International Relations and Cooperation, Mr Supra Mahumapelo, has on behalf of the committee commended and congratulated the Department of International Relations and Cooperation and the Presidency for the successful hand-over of the G20 report to the United States.

The US President did not attend the G20 Summit, which took place on the African continent for the first time. Mr Mahumapelo said the G20 processes and outcomes will have a definite impact on the G20’s global agenda going forward

“The Africa G20, which was held in South Africa, was very successful and the committee is looking forward to working together with the Department of International Relations and Cooperation for oversight in this regard,” said Mr Mahumapelo.
