The EFF has rejected to sit and legitimise the Medium Budget Policy Statement as delivered by Malusi Gigaba. We did this because Gigaba is the central player in the implementation of State Capture.

It is Gigaba who illegally naturalised the Guptas as citizens of South Africa when he was Minister of Home Affairs. He is the one that handed over SAA, Eskom, and Denel for corrupt Gupta capture when he was Minister of Public Enterprises. He also attempted to compromise ACSA and SAFCOL  in the same manner.

He has now been put directly in charge of Treasury and has begun processes to redirect state funds into the Gupta state capture project. Here, Gigaba is now in the process of defrauding PIC which manages pension funds of public sector workers.

It cannot be business as usual and the EFF will not participate in the hypocritical parliamentary process which seeks to create an impression that all is normal. We reject this to appeal to all freedom loving South Africans to reject our country from corrupt leaders who use parliament to legitimise their crime.
