The Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Training (DHET), Mr. Mduduzi Manana, MP will lead his Department in hosting the inaugural Higher Education and Training Youth Conference at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre (ICC), in KwaZulu-Natal from the 9th –11th June 2017.

Over one thousand eight hundred young people from across the country, will gather at the HEAIDS Youth Conference, to discuss youth economic empowerment, social inequality, HIV, STIs, TB, general health and other challenges affecting them.  Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa, Minister of Health, Dr Aaron Motsoaledi, Deputy Minister, Mr Buti Manamela along with several other government ministers will join young people and key decision makers from civil society and educational organisations as they create an open dialogue between those who make and enforce policy and those who it impacts.
