Today, Friday, 9 September 2022, the Democratic Alliance (DA) Gauteng Shadow MEC for Education, Khume Ramulifho MPL, will conduct an oversight inspection at Bedfordview High School.

The purpose of the oversight inspection is to assess the state of learning and teaching at the school. This follows shocking reports and complaints about ill-discipline among the learners.

The DA has received numerous complaints from concerned residents about learners trashing the streets with empty liquor bottles and urinating on pavements and neighbouring walls.

This concerning behaviour is severely affecting the safety of the community and motorists driving along the area. There are claims that this matter has been reported to the relevant authorities however, there has been no improvement.

Date: 9 September 2022

Time: 09:00 – 10:00
