The DA in the Western Cape welcomes the election of four new Chairpersons of Standing Committees of the Western Cape Provincial Parliament. This comes just 13 months after the Seventh Western Cape Provincial Parliament and relevant oversight committees were constituted – to hold the 7th Western Cape Provincial Government Administration accountable.

Gillion Bosman, DA Chief Whip in the Western Cape Legislature, said: “A year into this term, it was the right time to reflect, refresh, and refocus. Every member brings valuable expertise, and these changes ensure their skills are put to best use. This is about strengthening accountability and delivering clean, effective governance.”
