The Democratic Alliance in the Eastern Cape would like to wish all leaners well as they begin the new 2018 school year.
Through hard work and dedication; you will be able to make a success of your education.
That said, the EC Provincial Government in tandem with the National Department of Basic Education must work to eradicate mud schools and ensure that learners living far from education opportunities are afforded safe and reliable scholar transport. Furthermore, learners from poor backgrounds must benefit from the school nutrition programme - a hungry child cannot reach their full potential.
We believe every learner has the right to equal education and the DA will work hard to make sure all teachers have the necessary resources they need to teach and all learners have the necessary resources they need to learn.
