The Democratic Alliance (DA) in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) today joined the Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) in Ulundi to celebrate the party’s 50th anniversary.
On Friday, 21 March 2025, the party officially marked 50 years since it was founded by the late Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi.
The DA wishes to congratulate the IFP on this milestone. Both the DA and IFP have been instrumental and played a pivotal role into what is now the Government of Provincial Unity (GPU).
The DA has a proud history of collaboration and cooperation with the IFP in the province of KZN. We will continue to work with political parties that put the needs of people first and ultimately help rescue the province of KwaZulu-Natal.
