The Democratic Alliance extends condolences to the Executive Mayor of Tlokwe, Kgotso Khumalo and his family following the loss of their eldest son Mike.

He was allegedly stabbed to death over the weekend in Ikageng, Potchefstroom.

The DA calls on the police to continue with the investigation in order to ensure that the culprits are brought to justice.

The government, the police, communities and all relevant stakeholders need to proactively work together to combat crime and create a safe environment for residents. This sad criminal incident highlights the unsafe communities that people live in every day.
