The board of Corruption Watch (CW) today announced leadership developments at the organisation. Mr Karam Singh has stepped down from his role as executive director, effective 28 February 2025. He will, however, continue to work with CW in a consulting capacity for a period of time, focusing on key organisational priorities, after which he will pursue his own interests.

To ensure strong continuity in the organisation’s work, the board has appointed two experienced internal managers as joint interim leaders: Lord Ntambw (head of finance and administration) and Moira Campbell (head of communications). They will lead CW for the next four to six months as the organisation embarks on a reset of priorities with the aim of implementing strategic improvements to further strengthen its impact in the sector. Both leaders have been with the organisation for many years, one since its inception and the other for over a decade, ensuring stability in implementing organisational goals.

The board thanks Mr Singh for his valuable contribution to the organisation over the past five years – initially as the head of the legal and investigations unit from December 2019 and as executive director from January 2022 – and wishes him well in his future endeavours.

Furthermore, the board will begin the recruitment process in the near future to appoint a suitable candidate to lead CW into this new and exciting phase. The organisation’s commitment to fighting corruption is as strong as ever, and its dedicated team continues to drive forward its vital programmes and initiatives.
