Following a thorough internal review and disciplinary process, the Coega Development Corporation (CDC) has decided to dismiss its suspended CEO Kwezi Tiya effective December 19.

The CDC says Tiya has been dismissed after 15 months of suspension in accordance with its policies, which commit the organisation to maintain the highest standards of governance and operational integrity.

“The conclusion of the disciplinary process will allow for a renewed focus on CDC’s strategic objectives and stakeholder engagements.

“CDC values transparency, integrity and accountability,” the organisation concludes.
