The South African Meat Industry Company (SAMIC) being appointed as assignee, in terms of section 2(3) of the Agricultural Product Standards Act, 1990 (Act No. 119 of 1990), by Government Notice No. 121 of 1998 for the classification and marking of meat, hereby impose the following service fee as approved by the members of the Red Meat Industry Forum at the AGM of SAMIC, in respect of abattoirs that participate in the classification and marking of meat (No. R. of 30 January 2015). These service fees will be valid from 1 January 2018.
